Bectu Pact Tv Agreement

Bectu Pact Tv Agreement

The agreement on the production of TV drama was introduced on 1 December 2017 and applies to jobs operated by PACT members. This is a series of guidelines that apply to all feature films with a budget of more than £30 million. It was adopted by a massive majority of 87.61% and took more than 5 years of negotiations to achieve it. This is a firm working agreement to which all productions comply and to which they should refer, that is to say no more pecking of raisins by producers! The fact is that the conclusion of this agreement was a negotiation. This means that, although we have gained ground on some points, we have had to compromise on other points, but we think it was worth doing. This agreement will put all divisions on parity with regard to conditions and will also benefit daily newspapers that in the past have not enjoyed the same benefits as contract crew members. There will be a review of the agreement in early 2019. This will be an opportunity to see if it works, how it works and if any changes need to be made. We ask for all feedback on this subject, positive and negative. Contact us first and foremost if you think it has been poorly implemented or has worked with productions that have tried to get around it or find ways around it. Please email us at bectucostumewardrobe@gmail.com Prep and Wrap: In the past, most costume departments were expected to work a normal day more „reasonable preparation and packaging“.
